November Magic by April C. Pyles
God said to the angels one November night,/"Let us create some magic for my children's delight."/They set about to make it cold, just so,/ and God blew His breath on all below,/ Making coats of lace for grass and tree.? How beautiful is Nature's frosty filligree// I awoke, and what greeted my eyes/ But a snowy-white vista and deep blue skies./ As early morning sun set aglow frost-covered ground,/ crystals, like diamonds, sparkled all around./In the hush, a wonderous scene bade me stay/ and all but took my breath away.// I asked myself, can any jewel made by Man/ equal beauty wrought by God's own Hand?
