If you want a relaxing moment, try: http://amamas.wordpress.com/ or http://patrecia-sweetforever.blogspot.com/ I started this message, and somewhere on the internet it may be floating around. I will try again. What a day! Yesterday was one of those days that do not come often; Thank The Lord. My husband had a late meeting at school, and I visualized all the things I could do. First, I went to the bedroom and organized my beloved papers and books that I had collected for months. Now they needed a clean out. The phone rang. My granddaughter told me, the papers for their new house was signed, sealed, and delivered, and was I interested in helping them clean before they moved in. It was 11:30 AM. I was still in my nightclothes (we live in the country), and it is an hour drive to their new house. I declined due to obligations already on my calendar…until tomorrow After I hung up, I walked to the room with freezers to get a dusting cloth. I noticed blood on the floor. I investigated and saw the one freezer door standing open about three inches, and most everything in it was thawed. I felt like Eve back in the garden pointing my finger toward my husband, “He did it.” Whoever did it, the big clean up job needed immediate attention. First, I knew I had to eat to fuel my energy for the task. Afterward, I went to the freezer room with a big pan of soapy warm water and plenty of clean up cloths. Our little white dog beat me to the blood. I had to remember, he is a dog. He is mannerly; upon command he went to the other room to watch the woman at work. The clean up was useless until the upright freezer was emptied. The other freezers were full of veggies, fruits, grains, and more. I scooted them over and made room for the meat, a formidable task. I reasoned that even if the door was open a little, freezers in supermarkets have open tops. I concluded it had died. The freezer looked like new, after the total clean up and it was unplugged…which it was. I so much to get back to the computer to finish the book I have been working on for a year. Writer’s conference is in about three weeks and hopefully there will be an editor or publisher there looking for me…yeh. I started to tell you about the rest of the crazy day, but it is too long for now. I need to get to the things I did not do yesterday. This AM I got an email from a friend. She had a similar thing happen to her freezer/refrigerator. I wonder what happened at your house October 20th that you thought was strange. PS. When my husband came home, he put water in the freezer and it froze. This AM he put a thermometer in it and it went to 5 degrees.

  1. Nothing really strange happened here Oct.20, unless you call a productive day strange. Come to think of it, yeah that is strange, at least different. I wrote all day on the last chapters of book three in the Frost series. Carol typed all day. I managed to stay at least one page ahead of her all day so I could hand that one page to her to keep typing. I think she did take a little break here and there to let me catch up. We did get to the end and later I wrote an epilogue. Now the daunting task of rewrite and editing.
